1 pkg. Fast Acting Dry Yeast
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- Preheat Oven to 450º
- In a glass measuring cup, measure 1 cup of very warm water. Add dry yeast and sugar. Stir with a spoon, and set aside.
- Combine flour and salt in a bowl. When the yeast has been activated and has started to make small bubbles, add to the flour mixture.
- Add 2 T. oil.
- Mix dough well and form into a ball. It will be very sticky.
- Rub flour into your pastry cloth. Drop dough onto cloth and sprinkle with flour. Coat hands with flour and Knead several times.
- Roll out with a floured rolling pin until it is the desired size.
- Grease pan with cooking spray. Lay dough on pan. Press and work with fingers to create a crust.
- Add pizza sauce, cheese and additional ingredients.
- Bake at 450º for 10-15 minutes. (The more toppings you have the longer it will need to bake.)
