Pizza Dough

1 pkg. Fast Acting Dry Yeast
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil

  1. Preheat Oven to 450º
  2. In a glass measuring cup, measure 1 cup of very warm water.  Add dry yeast and sugar.  Stir with a spoon, and set aside.
  3. Combine flour and salt in a bowl.  When the yeast has been activated and has started to make small bubbles, add to the flour mixture.
  4. Add 2 T. oil.
  5. Mix dough well and form into a ball.  It will be very sticky.
  6. Rub flour into your pastry cloth.  Drop dough onto cloth and sprinkle with flour.  Coat hands with flour and Knead several times.
  7. Roll out with a floured rolling pin until it is the desired size.
  8. Grease pan with cooking spray.  Lay dough on pan. Press and work with fingers to create a crust.
  9. Add pizza sauce, cheese and additional ingredients.
  10. Bake at 450º for 10-15 minutes.  (The more toppings you have the longer it will need to bake.)
