Pork Chow Mein

1 lb ground pork
¾ cup water
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
2 Tablespoons dry sherry
1 tsp. instant bouillon granules
¼ tsp. black pepper
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1 cup thinly bias-sliced celery (2 stalks)
1 can bean sprouts rinsed and drained
4 green onions bias-sliced into 1” pieces
1 bunch Udon noodles.

Boil Udon noodles following the directions on the package. Drain and set aside.

In a small bowl, combine water, soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry bouillon granules and pepper. Set mixture aside.

Pour oil into wok and heat over medium high heat. Cook and stir ginger. Add pork to wok.  Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Remove from wok and place in a small bowl.

Add celery, green onions and bean sprouts.       Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes.

Stir sauce. Add to the center of the wok.  Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

Add cooked pork and cooked Udon noodles.       Cook and stir until hot.
