American Chop Suey

1 lb. ground beef
½ onion finely chopped
1 can of tomato soup
1 can diced tomatoes with liquid
2 cups of uncooked macaroni

1. Boil macaroni until soft. Drain.

2. Cook and stir hamburger and onions in a skillet until thoroughly cooked.  Drain off any extra fat into a small bowl.  Put bowl of fat in the refrigerator to harden.

3. Put tomatoes with liquid in the skillet.  Stir Together and heat to boiling.  Drain  the macaroni and put back in the cooking pot. Stir tomato/hamburg mixture into to macaroni.  Keep warm over low heat until ready to serve.
