1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pre-heat oven to 375°
- Mix butter and sugar until totally combined. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Divide into 2 balls.
- Roll out one dough ball on a floured pastry cloth until ¼” thick. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8-9 minutes.
- When cool, cookies can be frosted and decorated.
