On April 5, 2013, I spent a wonderful afternoon recording Claude Bonang (Brunswick High School, Class of 1948) playing his old-time instruments (the washboard tie, musical saw, rhythm bones, harmonica and mouth harp), as well as reading from his book Memories in Prose and Verse. Claude Bonang taught Biology and AP Biology at BHS, and is an historian, author, musician and artist. Check out his marine motif folk art display in the Library! ~Mrs. Jerome
