Kindergartners had a lot of fun with their last portrait project. We’ve had a lot of rain lately, so we brainstormed the things we might need if we were out in a storm. Working from memory, students drew themselves with raincoats, boots, hats, and an umbrella, and colored everything but the sky with crayon. The fun part came last: adding the raindrops and puddle using a wet-on-wet watercolor technique.
