After reading The Big Orange Splot, which features a very boring neighborhood that slowly transforms into a creative, one-of-a-kind street, kindergartners enjoyed creating their dream home on foam. The created a watercolor wash and crayon resist sky, and printed their house onto the sky. This was a fun way to learn how to mix colors and create orange, and using ink and foam was completely new and different.
