Welcome Back!

Welcome back to school! We have an exciting year of music making planned. I can’t wait to get started!

Just a reminder about the schedule for this week:
Monday doesn’t count as a day in the rotation so TUESDAY is the first official day of classes: Day 1. 7th and 8th grade students will need their instruments on Tuesday, September 1 for class. 6th grade students will need their instruments on WEDNESDAY (Day 2) for class. 6th graders should also bring their Essential Elements book.

For those students interested in Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble, look for information posted on the band room door and listen to announcements. We’ll be starting rehearsals SOON! 😀

7th and 8th grade District 3 Honors Band audition music is on the document holder outside my office door. Sixth grade audition music will be available by the end of the week.

Finally, I’m super excited to introduce you our “online classroom”, MusicFirst. Everyone has a subscription and you can access our classroom on any computer/tablet with internet access. You’ll learn more about MusicFirst and how we’ll be using it this week!
