Extra-curricular ensembles begin next week!

Playing in a small ensemble is a great way to improve your skills and have fun making music with your friends! Beginning next week, we have 2 ensembles starting rehearsals: Flute Choir and “Swingin’ Saxes” (Sax ensemble).

Flute Choir will meet on Tuesdays after school and S. Saxes meets on Thursdays after school. Both ensembles will rehearse until 3:30.

Sign-up sheets are on the band room door. If you’d like to participate but can’t come on the scheduled rehearsal day, please indicate that on the sign-up sheet. I will need to know what day/days you ARE available and if possible, I will try to accommodate the majority of musicians.

Saxes: We probably won’t be doing choreography and we won’t have bass and contrabass saxes in our ensemble 😉
