1.  Gradation demonstration with oil pastels.  Practice worksheet due by end of class.
2.  Continue symmetry experiments – practice connecting your drawing to others, play around with oil pastel gradation.
3.  Next class we begin final oil pastel drawings.  Things to plan ahead of time:  Who is in your group?  What size paper will you use, and how many pieces?  How will you arrange your drawings – horizontal, vertical, pyramid, or something totally different?

7-2
1.  Texture demonstration.
2.  Continue sculpting creature – DUE Monday at the end of class
–>10+ characteristics, texture, must whistle or rattle, score/slip/smooth, stands strongly on its own, “Rule of Thumb” is followed (hollow out thick pieces of clay)

1.  Continue masks – carving foam, building up with plaster, painting, etc. DO WHAT MAKES SENSE FOR YOUR DESIGN
