You are to complete a project on THE HOBBIT in order to demonstrate your understanding of Part II of the story.
Your project should emphasize a summary of the novel, particularly Part II of the story. You may focus your project on a certain literary aspect of THE HOBBIT, such as: interesting characters, memorable events, important locations, and instrumental themes.
You will need to consider how much information you determine to include in your project; consulting with your teachers will likely be necessary. You certainly do not want to have too little material just as you need to plan appropriately in order to not take on too much.
According to the syllabus you have adequate time in class to work on the project, but you are encouraged to work outside of class as well in order to complete the assignment. The project is valued as a performance grade (30% category). You will not work in groups or with a partner on this assignment.

STEP 2 Select a project type to present your chosen focus.
STEP 3 Write an outline or summary of how you plan to complete your projet.
STEP 4 Review the outline/summary with either Ms. Lloyd or Mr. Dwyer
