You are required to share with me a TedTalk featuring the subject of systemic discrimination. You will speak about what your observation is regarding systemic discrimination in our country, past, present, and future. Your production is assessed on how rhetorically effective the discussion is. You are the only person who is to be featured in this production.
I’ve often assumed that most of my students do not pay much attention to the performance indicators that begin each lesson on this website. In this case I have highlighted the indicators that will be assessed for this particular assignment. This assignment carries to values to your fourth quarter grade–a speaking/listening grade of 500 points and a writing grade of 800 points.
You are not required to submit a written copy of your talk.
