Wednesday- Last minute prep day for Reid State Park.
Thursday- REID STATE PARK FIELD TRIP
Friday- Record data from Reid State Park and conclude field study.
Our trip to Reid State Park happens next week! We continue with our Ecology unit now that Science Exhibit is behind us.

Four more weeks of school!! We complete our Science Exhibit presentations this week, and prepare for our June 15, Reid State Park field study.

Thursday- Step Up Day and Civil Rights Day.
Friday– Science Exhibit Presentations. Science Exhibit and Art Scoop TONIGHT at BJHS! Science Exhibit will be in the cafeteria from 6:30 to 7:30.
We have started our Ecology Unit, but will take a break from it this week as students present their Science Exhibits to one another. We will continue Ecology next week.

How’s your Science Exhibit experiment coming along? Thursday, we will take a break from Ecology and work in the computer lab on Science Exhibit, which will conclude all that we can do in class- it’s now up to you to finish at home.

Wednesday- Half Day- Activity Day!
Thursday- Sciencesaurus Ecology and discussion of transfer of energy in a food web

Monday- Pendulum Experiment– to practice the Eight Practices of Science.
Tuesday- Pendulum Lab and Lab Report.
Wednesday- Complete Pendulum Lab and Lab Report and Science Exhibit check-in of Title, Question, Hypothesis, Prediction, List of Materials, and Step-by-Step Procedures. Science Exhibit project.
Thursday- Conclude Science Exhibit prep and what can be done in the classroom. The experiment and this project are now in your hands…
Friday- Introduce our Ecology Unit.
We have one more day of testing and we continue with the Science Exhibit prep.
Monday– Science Exhibit- choose your question/experiment. Parent Signature on SE Letter DUE WEDNESDAY. Also DUE WEDNESDAY, Seed Germination Lab Report.
Tuesday- EmpowerME testing in the morning and Science Exhibit prep.
Wednesday- Science Exhibit prep. SE Letter and Seed Germination Lab Report DUE.
Thursday- HALF DAY. Parent Teacher Conferences in the afternoon.
Friday- NO SCHOOL for students– Parent Teacher Conferences in the morning.
