Good morning Coffin Community,
This is Mr. Ciembroniewicz and I’d like your attention for one minute on this Monday morning as I share a few thoughts with you to start our week together.
At Coffin School we spend a lot of time talking about being safe, being kind, and being gentle. I’d like to challenge you this week to spend some extra time thinking about that first word: safe.
To me, being safe means that we’re looking out for one another, with our words and with our actions. We’re keeping each other safe on the inside and the outside. To me, being safe also means working and listening to keep our entire school – our classrooms, our hallways, our playgrounds, and our cafeteria – places where everyone can learn.
It makes me proud to see all the kindnesses and enthusiasm that each of you bring to Coffin School. As Baxter Bear would say, be kind, be gentle, be safe – and, do good work.
