Summer Math

Prevent the Summer Slide with these Math Reviews.  Students can do one a week or a few at a time.   There are answer keys for students or parents to check.  These review previously taught concepts for the most part.  If you come across a question you aren’t familiar with, try it and see what happens.  
 
Further down the page are some multiplication fact review sheets.  Math fact fluency is essential at the junior high level.
 
Level 1 (PDF) This is a basic computation benchmark assessment appropriate for all rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. 
 
Level 2 (PDF) Nine weeks of math reviews with answers for rising 6th graders.  Most should be able to do weeks 1-5, higher level students may be able to do weeks 6-9.  Level 2 answers (PDF).
 
Level 3  Level 3 Weeks 1-5 (PDF) | Level 3 Weeks 6-10 (PDF) Ten weeks of math reviews with answers and is appropriate for most average and high rising 6th graders and all rising grade 7 students. Level 3 answers (PDF).
 
Level 4 Level 4 Weeks 1-5 (PDF) | Level 4 Weeks 6-10 (PDF) Ten weeks of math reviews with answers and is appropriate for most average and high rising 8th graders and all rising grade 9 students. Level 4 answers (PDF).
