Training

Just how serious are you in your goal to become a better player?  Training is an important component to improving your skills.  The lessons learned competing in sports provide you with values that will be employed in future endeavors.  Taking care of your body and mind is often overlooked by the casual competitor, the individual whose  sense of fulfillment is harnessed in immediate gratification.  Training requires discipline, commitment and respect for yourself.  Those qualities alone provide a tremendous foundation towards achievement.  You will discover here a training regiment used by several collegiate softball programs.  This program should be adjusted to the age and physical condition of the athlete.

Running:

Monday- 3 mile run
Tuesday- 3 mile run
Wednesday- Sprints
Thursday- Hill Work
Friday- 3 Mile run
Saturday- Sprints
Sunday- Rest
