Pregame Visualization

1.  Be on time.  Be in uniform and be ready to play an hour before home contests and the moment you get off the bus for away contests.

2.  Run a lap as a team and then stretch as a team.

3.  Throw together as a team.

4.  Batting practice, pitcher and catcher bat first.  The game day hitter’s guide

6.  Work on your fielding if the opportunity to do so exists.  The game day fielder’s guide

7.  Watch your opponents pitch, hit and field in order to gain information that you will apply during the game.

8. Prepare to be a threat on the bases.

9.  Focus on the task of playing your best.  Eliminate any external factors that threaten your ability to perform at your best.  Competition is often a distraction from concerns that otherwise preoccupy your attention.  Embrace the reprieve that the contest provides for you.

10. Pregame Fielding Regiment- Show the opponents you mean business.  Show your teammates that you mean business.
