All menus and foods served in the Brunswick schools are regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture, the Maine Department of Education, and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. Approved software takes into account the ingredients, the recipes, and the serving size, and also determines what the average serving contains. The guidelines are determined by the age of the students in each school.
