Math in Focus

Math in Focus is the math program that HBS has adopted. In order to keep you informed of the concepts we are learning in class, I have provided a series of newsletters called “School-to-Home Connections.”

This consists of:

  • vocabulary terms with explanations
  • a brief outline of the math content for the chapter
  • a simple and engaging activity for the adult at home to do with the child to explore or practice a key concept or skill

My hope is that this will provide an opportunity to allow parents to practice and reinforce math skills and essential vocabulary at home.
