Hello! My name is Erin Lemont and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your child in kindergarten. I know it will be a terrific year.
I was born in Maryland, but consider myself from Brunswick, Maine. My family moved around a lot when I was younger because my father was in the Navy. Due to his job, I have had many different experiences all over the world. I graduated from Brunswick High School in 2005 and then attended the University of Maine at Farmington. I enjoyed my time at UMF and while there, I had the chance to student teach in a kindergarten and sixth grade classroom.
When I graduated in 2009, I received a position in first grade and taught for four years in the Oxford Hills school district. My husband and I moved back to Brunswick to be close to family before our son was born in 2014. This will be my second year teaching kindergarten at Robert P.T. Coffin Elementary School. I am looking forward to another wonderful year!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. He and I met in first grade! He is a middle school science teacher in MSAD 52. We love to go for walks, garden, and visit many different playgrounds! We have four cats and a very lovable beagle. I love to cook, go to Target, and read.
