Monday, November 17th was the kickoff for the Mean Stinks Celebration here at BJHS.  Every student and staff member was encouraged to sign the pledge in homeroom.  The pledge reads: “Mean Stinks! That’s why we are uniting to stomp out mean forever.  By placing our signature on this agreement to gang up for good, and painting our pinkies blue or wearing the mean stinks tattoo, we agree to make a pact, a simple vow to swear off bullying and have each other’s backs when mean tries to show its stinkin’ face.”

One Monday a month throughout the year we will revisit this pledge by painting our pinkies blue or wearing the mean stinks tattoo.  Blue flowers placed around the school  serve as daily a reminder to gang up for good this year.
