Tour of Egypt

[Show as slideshow]
The Nile River, notice how close the desert is to the water. Ninety percent of the population of Egypt live along the Nile River.
Temple Philae
The great Pyramids at Giza. Notice how small I am next to one of the 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 ton blocks used to build the Pyramid!
A felucca (sail boat) along the Nile river. I took a sail on one like this. We have also made them out of paper at school.

That is me riding a camel at Giza.
We flew to Abu Simbel to see this temple. It was lifted up and put back together so that the rising waters from the Aswan Dam would not cover it.
Statues in the Valley of the Kings.
