Good morning everyone,
First, I wanted to send out a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who was able to attend the concert last week! It was a very special evening and I am so proud of our students. Thank you so much for keeping music in their lives. It was a wonderful night and I am excited to begin new music today with them 😊
There are a few important updates to the schedule this week:
Tomorrow, Tuesday 12/11/18
7:00 a.m – Morning Band
** THERE IS NO TUESDAY JAZZ THIS EVENING! I just found out about a wake I need to attend tomorrow so I had to move rehearsal. Tuesday jazz will be THURSDAY at 6. (I had already rescheduled Thursday jazz a few weeks ago to Wednesday night)
5:30 p.m – THURSDAY JAZZ ENSEMBLE
6:00 p.m – Music Boosters meeting in the keyboard lab
7:00 a.m – Morning Band
6:00 p.m – Tuesday jazz (THIS IS THE RESCHEDULE FROM TUESDAY)
We WILL NOT be performing at the game on this night. I know I put it on the calendar but the kids are stretched pretty thin. Last week was a lot for them and I don’t feel right about asking them for another long week. They should enjoy a night off.
7:00 a.m – MORNING BAND (this is in lieu of Thursday rehearsal as I will be out of town)
5:30 p.m – Thursday Jazz (this is in lieu of Thursday jazz)
7:00 a.m – Morning band
That should take us through the following week which is VACATION!!!!!

Just a quick reminder that there is Disney payment due by next Friday!
Thanks to Mrs. Albert for coordinating this, Poinsettias may be picked up ASAP in the afternoon this week. Most should have been picked up by now but there are still several left in the music wing. PLEASE come pick these up as they are likely to die if they aren’t watered.
I believe that is all I have for now. Thank you all again so much for the effort and support you have shown our students this fall! I am so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. They have been troopers during this busy time of year and I am so blessed that they always give above and beyond. I hope you have a wonderful week. Thank you for your unwaivering support of BHS music.
