Classwork / Homework

PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD’S ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK FOR WHAT WAS DONE IN CLASS; CHECKING THROUGH THE SCIENCE FOLDER ON A WEEKLY BASIS WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL!

In Mr. Higgins’s science classes, homework typically consists of studying for quizzes and tests, finishing up any classwork to return the next day, working on projects over a certain period of time with intermediate due dates for certain parts of the project, and bringing materials from home for certain assignments and/or field trips.

Classwork is basically everything else; it should be kept in a folder marked “Science” and NOT thrown away. Mr. Higgins encourages his students to be S.A.S.S.Y., which means “Save All Science Stuff, You!” until told to do otherwise.
