The IN COLD BLOOD Exam features questions selected from the various study guides about the novel located on the third quarter syllabus.

PART 1  CHARACTERS–  This section of the exam requires you to match listed characters with essential descriptions about these characters from the novel.  20 POINTS

PART 2  FREYTAG’S PYRAMID  Considering Alvin Dewey as the protagonist of the novel you will identify various developments in the story according to the Freytag’s Pyramid model.                                                                                                                 10 POINTS

PART 3  PASSAGES– Memorable passages have been selected from the novel that you will associate with the character who expresses or who is described by the passage.
10 POINTS

PART 4  TRUE/FALSE–  Events, selected from the study guide, require you to determine whether the information in question is valid according to the novel.
10 POINTS

PART 5  WRITTEN RESPONSE–  The final section of the exam requires you to respond to analysis-based questions requiring you to consider the movie Capote          50 POINTS
