August Update!

It’s hard to believe that in a few short weeks, we’ll be gathering together for another year of music making!

Mrs. Tarleton and Miss Anderson have been busy planning for the new school year (along with vacation fun!) and we’re excited to see everyone soon!

The website is being updated for the new school year. Be sure to check back if the info you are looking for has not been posted or looks “outdated”. Email us if you can’t find what you need on the website.

Some important info for our musicians and parents:

• This year’s musical is “Alice in Wonderland”. It looks like it will be a really fun production! We’ll hit the ground running with auditions/rehearsals! Be ready head down the rabbit hole!
• Jazz Band Audition information and materials have been posted. You can find everything you’ll need to prepare under the Jazz menu (under Instrumental Music in the main menu).
• Our Piano Key fundraiser is ongoing! If you’re interested in “purchasing” a key, contact Mrs. Tarleton or Miss Anderson. For more information, see our June 12 post “We have a new piano!!…and we need YOUR help…”
• 7 & 8 grade band students: are you available to help with this year’s Band-a-palooza for incoming 6th grade band students on Tuesday, August 28 from 9-3ish? Miss Anderson is in need of “peer mentors”! Please let her know via email if you can help!
