Happy “Music in Our Schools” Month!

We have lots of exciting performances and events scheduled in the next several weeks! Please be sure to check out our calendar page (see menu above) for ALL of our scheduled performances from now through the end of the school year!

Coming Up:

Tuesday, March 20, 7:00 PM, BJH Gymnasium– MIOSM Extra-curricular Ensembles Concert for students in Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Advanced Choir, Jazz Choir (The program for this concert is available on our new “Concert Programs” page!)

Tuesday, March 27, 7:00 PM, BJH Gymnasium– Sixth Grade Band and Chorus Concert for all 6th grade band and chorus students

Wednesday, March 28- Wind Ensemble field trip to perform at the Maine Band Directors Association “Festival of Bands” at Scarborough High School. We’ll be leaving BJH at 1:45. Permission slips are due “now”. Please get it in if you haven’t already (You can find a copy on the document holder page of this website). This trip is for all Wind Ensemble musicians!

Tuesday, April 3, 7:00 PM, BJH Gymnasium– 7th & 8th Grade Chorus Concert for all 7th & 8th grade chorus students.

IMPORTANT: Many of our musicians are in multiple performing groups! (their regular performance classes and also extra-curricular ensembles and honors groups.) Please check the calendar carefully! Your best source of information (other than this website) is your musician! Ask them what’s coming up!
