Extra-curricular instrumental ensembles

Sign-ups and auditions for some of our extra-curricular instrumental ensembles have begun.

Jazz Band is open to 6-8 graders by audition. The audition for students who played in Jazz Band last year is Friday (9/11) at 7:05. The audition for all 6th graders and 7th & 8th graders new to jazz band is on Tuesday (9/15).
Jazz Band will rehearse Tuesday and Friday mornings at 7:05. Our first “official” rehearsal is Friday, September 18.

Wind Ensemble is open to 6-8 graders by invitation. Sign-up sheets have been available during band this week. We hope to begin rehearsals Thursday, September 17 for 7th & 8th graders and will begin adding 6th graders the following week.

Students interested in participating in an extra-curricular music group who haven’t signed-up yet, should see Miss Anderson as soon as possible.
