BJH Wind Ensemble to perform at MBDA Concert Band Festival

The Brunswick Junior High Wind Ensemble will be performing at the Maine Band Directors Association (MBDA) Concert Band Festival at Scarborough High School (11 Municipal Drive) on Wednesday, April 3.

The MBDA Festival is a non-competitive festival for Elementary through High School bands from around the state. Each band performs for a panel of adjudicators who will be recording comments as the band performs. The band then meets with one of those adjudicators (all highly qualified music educators) for a 25 minute clinic working the the group on aspects of their performance.

The BJH Wind Ensemble is scheduled to perform at 7:15.

(FYI-Wind Ensemble: Dress for this event is formal concert attire–black from waist down, white dress shirts. Eat before we leave or bring a bag lunch or money to purchase concessions. We will have very little time for purchasing/eating food when we arrive. We will be watching performances beginning at 5:45.)
