Students who qualify for the English as a Second Language Program attend all schools in the Brunswick School Department.
ESL students are supported through the ESL program within the classroom and/or in a study hall. Students are serviced through the ESL program until they meet the English Language proficiency goals as determined by WIDA ACCESS 2.0 test scores and the Language Assessment Committee. After exiting the program, students are monitored for two years through contact with teachers to be sure that their language needs are no longer impacting their learning.
