ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT
The Brunswick School Department requests applications from experienced educators with building and central office experience. Extensive knowledge of federal and state grants; administrative systems; facilitating School Board Committees; teacher/administrator evaluation and certification; bargaining unit contracts, and personnel development and monitoring. Strong leadership qualities are necessary to be successful as well as sound decision-making practices. An ability and comfort for being in charge of the district when the Superintendent is not there is expected, and a strong and pervasive sense of humor is critical. Superintendent certification is preferred.  Position will start July 1, 2015.

LONG-TERM SUB at COFFIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
for 
EDUCATIONAL TECHNICIAN III, FUNCTIONAL LIFE SKILLS
Beginning approximately May 15 through conclusion of 2014-2015 school year. Applicant must be able to perform all work required as part of the Functional Life Skills staff.  Educational Technician III Certification and CHRC required.  Position will be filled when a suitable candidate is found.

DISTRICT-WIDE PHYSICAL THERAPIST
This is an exciting and rewarding full-time opportunity for an individual to work as a district-wide Physical Therapist for the Brunswick School Department.  Appropriate licensure/certification and CHRC (DOE Criminal History Records Check) approval required.  This position is available March 9.

 LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE MUSIC TEACHER at COFFIN SCHOOL
Substitute needed from May 4 through the end of the 2014-2015 school year. Must be organized, able to read music, sing unfamiliar and familiar songs, play piano and/or classroom instruments to accompany students, follow a written general music lesson and be able to create a general music lesson, have experience with Orff instruments and arrangements, have experience working with early elementary students in a music setting, able to manage behaviors and modify lessons to ensure success for a variety of learning styles.
CHRC (DOE Criminal History Records Check) approval and
K-8 music certification required.
