DISTRICT-WIDE PHYSICAL THERAPIST: This is an exciting and rewarding full-time opportunity for an individual to work as a district-wide Physical Therapist for the Brunswick School Department. Appropriate licensure/certification and CHRC (DOE Criminal History Records Check) approval required. We would also consider a contracted Physical Therapist provider position.
0.5 SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST, BJHS: Brunswick Junior High School is seeking a half-time Speech Language Pathologist. Candidate must be ASHA certified. Responsibilities include direct service and consult service to a diverse population of students with speech needs. Additional responsibilities include evaluations, case management, and IEP development and maintenance. Maine DOE Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) approval is required.
LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE, GRADE 8 MATH TEACHER, BJHS: Brunswick Junior High School is seeking a qualified long-term substitute for the position of Grade 8 Math Teacher, from approximately November 10, 2015 to December 11, 2015. Must have experience teaching middle school or high school math, and a strong understanding of the Middle Level Learner. LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE, GUIDANCE COUNSELOR, BJHS: Brunswick Junior High School is seeking a qualified long-term substitute for the position of Guidance Counselor. The position will begin on or about October 23, 2015 until mid-January. Must have a strong interest and understanding of the Middle Level Learner, and have excellent communication skills. LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE MATH RTI TEACHER, BHS: Long-term substitute opening at BHS for a Math Response-To-Intervention teacher. Duration of opening will be for a month with the possibility of an extension. The role requires working with students below benchmark in math and helping them to address specific areas of need. Requires the ability to work with students of various math levels and to manage student progress. Appropriate Maine Certification and DOE Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) approval are required. LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE for .5 SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER, BHS: Brunswick High School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of 0.5 Social Studies educator to teach courses in Global Geography and US History. The position will begin on November 2, 2015 with courses being taught every other day on a block schedule. SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER, HARRIET BEECHER STOWE SCHOOL: Candidate must be knowledgeable about early behavioral intervention, data collection, and the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans. Skilled at providing comprehensive school social work services to students and families. Appropriate D.O.E. certification/licensure required. Must have current CHRC approval.
ANTICIPATED ED TECH I, CONNECTIONS PROGRAM, HARRIET BEECHER STOWE SCHOOL. An Ed. Tech. I is needed to work in a program with emotional/behavioral needs, as of 10/23/15. Previous experience working with this population is desired. Ed Tech I Certification and CHRC approval are required. Please submit a non-teaching application.
FOOD SERVICE SUBSTITUTES. Seeking individuals willing to work 3-4 hour shifts as a food service worker in our schools. Must have current CHRC (DOE Criminal History Records Check) approval.

Applications are accepted year-round for the positions listed below. We seek applicants with at least a bachelor’s degree; teaching degrees are highly desirable. Criminal history record check with fingerprinting (CHRC) is required.
