1. Smooth surface and edges of both slabs with small, slightly damp sponge
2. Transfer contour lines onto slab – put photo in sheet protector, place on top of slab, trace over contour lines with a ballpoint pen or a dull pencil
3. Incise contour lines – carve the lines slightly deeper, using a small, slightly damp sponge to smooth and clean as you go
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on your second slab
