Brunswick Believes – Strategic Planning Update

Our strategic planning work-group met on Friday, March 11 to review the themes from the stakeholder input collected during the past few months.  Input was gathered in the following ways:
  – facilitated community meetings
  – written surveys available at the meetings
  – discussion with all teaching staff
  – student meetings at Coffin and Harriet Beecher Stowe
  – online student survey for students in grade 6-12
  – online community surveys
Good Group Decisions reviewed and analyzed this input and summarized the themes.  The results of this work is available in the Strategic Planning Stakeholder Input Report.
During our meeting on Friday, the work-group discussed these themes, and started to build a strategic framework.
The work-group will meet again on Friday, March 25 to continue to work on the strategic framework, and will then bring the document forward for the School Board to consider.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate.  Input was thoughtful and relevant and we look forward to working with the community in Brunswick to build upon the ideas that will be included in the strategic framework.
If you have questions on the process, you may contact Pender Makin at 319-1900.
