What is Service Learning?
Service learning is a teaching method which combines community service with academic instruction. It focuses on civic responsibility as well as critical and reflective thinking. Service learning programs involve students in organized community service that addresses local needs and engages students in the educational process. Students learn to apply what they learn in the classroom to solve real-life problems.

How to get involved:
- Two service-learning classes are offered each semester as an elective from Mr. Wilson in room 203
- You can sign up as an independent study with Mr. Wilson in room 203
