Brunswick Students are Invited to EXPERIENCE JAPAN!

Sister City LogoBrunswick students are invited to EXPERIENCE JAPAN!!! On July 31, 2019 up to 12 lucky students will be Japan bound! Could you be one of them? Become a student ambassador and be a part of Bath history. Bath is celebrating its 30th anniversary of its sister city relationship with Tsugaru, Japan this year. The Bath-Tsugaru Student Exchange (BTSE) Program is a local non-profit organization recruiting student travelers, ages 14-18, for 2 weeks of culture, food, and friendship. The all inclusive trip features an authentic 10 day homestay experience with a Japanese family plus 2-3 nights in Tokyo for just under $2,500. The trip is carefully planned and fully chaperoned with at least 3 adults. Partial scholarships and fundraising may be offered. Adult chaperones may also be considered.

Would you like to learn more? Attend our information session in the Morse HS library on Wednesday, February 6th from 6-7pm (snow date Thursday, February 7th). Meet current Morse HS students who are alumni of the exchange. Can’t make it? An information session at Brunswick HS will also be held on Tuesday, February 5th from 6-7pm in the Multipurpose Room. Not able to attend either session? Contact Jen Jones, BTSE Program Coordinator, at tsugaru@rsu1.org or for more details. The application deadline, along with a $100 deposit, are due Monday, April 1st.
