Hello everyone! My name is Amelia Libby and I’ll be your third grade teacher this year!
This will be my fourth year teaching at Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School and my eighth year teaching third grade! Prior to working at HBS I taught in Norway, Maine. I attended the University of Maine in Orono and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2011. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.
When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy running, cooking and baking (especially desserts 🙂 ), knitting, and card-making. I also enjoy traveling. Some of my favorite trips have been to Italy, Washington DC, Glacier National Park, and San Juan, Argentina.
I am looking forward to learning more about you and working with you this year!
